Greetings from the Commander

Greetings VFW Family,

It has been a very busy couple of months at the Post. We held the first of many much-needed Post Work days on July 29th. A heartfelt Thank You to all the Post and Auxiliary members who attended and accomplished lots of deep cleaning along with some repairs and a little re-arranging of some

art work. We will continue this effort in September on the 23rd, please come and lend a hand. We are in process of planning many Post upgrade projects behind the scenes, which include a new patio fence, new camera security system and new Post L.E.D. lighting.Look for these new items in

the next month or so to be in place.

Also on our project objectives are upgrade of our existing internet service to a larger bandwith and just launched our new VFW Post Web page. The Post Web page is currently under construction to complete banners and our own language related to our mission and project statements. Our old

VFW web site users have already been pointed to our new site, but did not know it was still being modified. My apologies for the confusion and ask

that you please be patient as we work toward completion of the site this week.

Membership is key to our Post’s success and I encourage those members who are past their renewal date to contact me or come into the Post so that

we can get your membership current. If you haven’t visited the Post in awhile, I would like to pass on a personal invitation to do so and look at the

many changes in place and the smiling faces.

For those traveling on business or vacation, we wish you safe travels and a speedy return.

See you at the Post!

Regards,

Jeff Rians
